Most clients describe mild discomfort rather than pain. We use fine needles or cannulas, and a numbing cream or local anaesthetic in the filler itself can be used for more sensitive areas such as the lips.

How long do dermal fillers last?

This depends on the area treated and the product used, but most dermal fillers last between six and eighteen months. Lip filler tends to be on the shorter end, while cheek and jaw filler can last longer. We'll talk you through what to expect for your specific treatment at consultation.

Is there any downtime?

Dermal fillers are a zero-downtime treatment for most clients, so you can return to normal activities straight away. Some mild swelling or bruising at the injection site is possible and usually settles within a few days.
