Profhilo

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring acid in the skin, responsible for maintaining hydration and elasticity, both of which naturally diminish with age. Profhilo injections at our Wilmslow clinic also work to stimulate the fibroblasts within the dermis, boosting the skin's natural production of collagen and elastin, key elements for skin regeneration and long-term skin health.

Here’s an improved version:

Profhilo works specifically from within to boost and hydrate the skin, spreading evenly rather than concentrating in one area like traditional dermal fillers, while also helping to rebuild collagen and restructure damaged tissue. The injected hyaluronic acid naturally attracts water into the deeper layers of the skin, providing an intensely hydrating and plumping effect for smoother, more radiant-looking skin.

  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Stimulates collagen and elastin production
  • Deeply hydrating results

Profhilo Process

Profhilo involves injecting highly purified, stabilised hyaluronic acid into five specific bio-aesthetic points (BAPs) on each side of the face. It begins by deeply hydrating the skin, then stimulates collagen and elastin production for results that rejuvenate the skin from the inside out. Treatment areas include the face and neck, and Profhilo can also be used on the body to treat skin laxity in areas such as the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Profhilo hurt?

Most clients describe only mild discomfort during the injections. Profhilo uses a small number of injection points, and any sensitivity is brief and settles quickly after treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

Profhilo is typically given as a course of two treatments, around four weeks apart, to build the best results. We'll confirm the right plan for your skin at consultation.

How long do the results last?

Most clients see results lasting around six months following a full course, as Profhilo continues to stimulate your skin's own collagen and elastin production. Many clients choose to repeat the course twice a year to maintain results.

Is there any downtime?

There's little to no downtime with Profhilo. You may notice small bumps at the injection sites immediately after treatment, but these typically settle within a day or two, and you can return to normal activities straight away.

How much does Profhilo cost?

Treatment starts from £350 per session. We'll give you a clear price for your full course during your consultation before any treatment goes ahead.

What's the difference between Profhilo and dermal fillers?

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, which add volume to a specific area, Profhilo spreads evenly beneath the skin to hydrate and stimulate collagen and elastin production across the treated area. It's best suited to improving overall skin quality and radiance rather than reshaping or adding contour.
